Loan processing that carries the file, not just paperwork

Whether you're a loan officer, a broker, or a borrower looking for the right MLO, here's how we work.

For Loan Officers & Brokers

Your processing team, end to end

Proficient Loan Processing acts as your processing team — submitting clean, pre-underwritten files, tracking conditions, and keeping the borrower and loan officer informed through closing. With 26 years of experience, we've processed purchase, refinance, FHA, VA, conventional, and non-QM loans, including complex files like 1031 exchanges, trusts, HELOCs, multiple borrowers, and rehab loans.

Working Together

Roles & Responsibilities

Clear expectations from day one — here's what we handle for you.

What We Handle

  • Review and issue disclosures per lender requirements
  • Review the file and request any information needed from borrowers to submit a complete file to underwriting
  • Coordinate with all third-party vendors throughout the loan — escrow, title, credit agency, appraiser, etc.
  • Request conditions directly from the borrower upon approval
  • Order loan documents based on locked terms and confirm doc fees
  • Request the Closing Disclosure and notify the borrower of the need to sign
  • Facilitate funding requirements and send documents electronically for signature
  • Stack the closed loan file and submit it per your stacking order (or supply one if none is given)
  • Submit invoices to escrow at closing
  • Keep you updated at every stage: disclosures issued, needs list sent, loan submitted, conditions submitted, etc.
  • Standard turn-times of 24–48 hours for new originations and 24 hours for new approvals and condition review — rush reviews available on request
